The Hotelship does not exist anymore. I was at Koh Chang in March this year and that place was a big construction site. But the rest of the Island ist nice

Koh Chang is still a good place to go. Of course, the video makes it look like paradise on Earth (as always on TT), but at least it's not Maya Bay or Railay Beach, and there are local tourists (Thais and expats). Koh Chang and Koh Samet (both southeast of Pattaya in the Thai Gulf) still have a certain chill vibe and aren't too crowded.
