In a pinch when I don’t have an inhaler on me I will find a strong mint, like an Altoid, and it helps until I can get to my inhaler. Idk how it works but it definitely helps.

I was given coffee bottles with sugar as a baby, yes I have asthma. I don’t know if My Mom or family was told this in the early 60’s 😣

My husband swears that a hot cup of black coffee is the best treatment for his asthma when his rescue inhaler doesn't work. It's just a quick fix until I get him to his doctor. He usually needs a nebulizer. Anyway I suggest people go to the hospital if they can't breathe
