@digitalmamachels: This is a post I never imagined myself writing… but God had other plans. And even though we aren’t supposed to question Him, I still find myself wondering, “Why us?” At 7 weeks and 4 days, we lost our baby — a baby we prayed so hard for. A baby Grayson talked about from the moment we told him he was going to be a big brother. A baby he picked something out for every time we went to the store because he was that excited. A baby he asked about every single day… “mommy , is the baby sleeping or awake right now” I don’t think I’ll ever understand how or why… especially when just two days ago we saw you on ultrasound, heard your strong heartbeat at 134 BPM, and were told everything looked perfect. But today, our hearts are shattered. Rest in heaven, sweet little one. Your mommy, daddy, and big brother will love you forever. You will always be a part of us.
