I hate that in literally every route except this you ignore everything Sakura is going through, and she's still there suffering :(. That's why for me, the best route is Heaven's Feel, since it helps the real victim of all this, and somehow everyone gets a happy ending. It's not like that for saber , but after all, she's a Servant and she'll be okay.

The hate towards Sakura (I think) is because her sad past feels too “artificial.” It's as if they want to give her the most tragic, dark, murky, and melancholic past possible so that you empathize with the character by force, which feels very fake or unbelievable, even though Fate Stay Night has a lot of tragic characters that the audience feels tremendous attachment to (such as Shirou/Archer, Rin, or Saber). Additionally, Sakura just happens to coincide with the route where Shirou is the most hated of all, and the fact that both characters begin and end in each other takes away a lot of the plot value, because you feel that with the absence of the other, the character dies completely (I'm telling you this as someone who loves Heaven's Feel and likes the character of Sakura).
