I have an extremely analytical brain. I cannot turn off my thoughts, and I analyze every conversation I have after the fact. I’ll also play out conversations in extreme depth. Everyone talks to themselves here and there but I create scenarios, work through memories, and I explain my tendencies to myself as if there’s a therapist in my brain helping me figure them out. I ask myself questions as another person, and I answer them as myself. I will find a thought and I will fully break it down. I do this all day everyday at every hour. It is exhausting and I see no point in any of it! No matter how much I analyze I’m still going to have a reaction to events throughout my life, I find it extremely hard to stop reactions. Rarely do I think then speak. But after I speak I think and think and think and think from all angles

I have all of these. I am not highly intelligent. maybe slightly above average. I know a couple of people who are miles ahead of my thinking capabilities. it makes me very aware of my limitations.
