@hy787k: Its no wonder there is a mental health crisis amoung the younger generation..and to make matters worse most cant afford to get treated and if they do they are told to “get a better job” what happened to the middle class just wanting to make w decent living? #housingcrisis #MentalHealth #americandream #rent #longervideos
My boys struggle cuz fast food and going out to eat is priority. When I raised them it was a treat and didn’t get it often. A lot of stuff they spend their money on it’s not necessarily. People are living luxury without luxury money. I’d hate to see my kids bank statement. While they was kids money went on bills groceries gas. Only went to the store for stuff that was needed not wanted. Sure stuff has went up a lot, but so has hiring positions. Almost double what it was when I raised them. They will take their last 5 and spend it on fast food then ask for 5 for gas and how life is hard

SAVVY MOM THINGS :
In Italy the family lives together generationally. Grandparents, their children and their children and so on. It’s only in America we have young adults moving out so young. Stay home, save up and invest your money to be more financially secure. Have them pay rent but make it like $100 or $200, or have them pick up groceries once and awhile. Take family vacations together to share the cost and have a really nicer vacation tgen theycoukd afford on their own. Benefit is they will feel better prepared when they do move out. Family has stronger bond too when they are together longer.

I see and hear all that you are saying. Blackrock bought a massive amount of our housing market. Government is doing everything they can to destroy us working class folks. I am facing the same thing

Residential Taxes. As a landlord, we don't charge even market rates, but they keep raising taxes.

I just bought my 1st house at 55. I received a phone saying my mortgage required home warranty along w our home insurance. it is NOT required, it is a scam. capital one told us they refuse to pay them because it has been proven that most home warranty companies are a scam. it was an extra 300 a month till capital told us. we tried to cancel, they said we had to pay an extra payment before we could. so we just blocked them and let it run out.

$5 an hour in 1978 afforded me $350 a month in rent in Brooklyn. Rents are approx $2000 for same apartment. Minimum wage should be around $25-$30 an hour to be fair.

There is a massive housing shortage in almost every state in the U.S. Federal and State governments should be offering tax breaks to builders to promote building and growth. Don’t get me started on healthcare even though U.S. healthcare is quality. Premiums are ridiculous though.
