@sol_earth2025: Here, the essentials of politics and political science are introduced and defined. If you want to educate yourself a little bit more about all things political; this is the resource for you. People live together in communities because of benefits such as safety (through rules of law) and shared resources (like schools and hospitals). But because we need the safety of laws, we need a system for making them. That system is politics. Cambridge Online Dictionary defines politics as "the activities of the government... or people who try to influence the way a country is governed". And a politician is defined by Cambridge Online Dictionary as "a person who is active in politics". Political science is the study of politics in a serious, organised way. It looks at systems of governance: the different ways groups and countries are run (governed). Political science also looks at how governments are chosen. #Politics #Politician #Politicians #PoliticalScience #Government
