stuck at step 2 😭😭😭 My husband and I both 41. there's nothing left at the end of the month... mortgage, two car payments, $600/mo towards our kids 529 college plans, at alllllll The other expenses. We are on earth do people have this extra money?? We make $10k a month too.. which seems decent but it's really not this day and age 😭

If you don’t have any savings in your 40s, I’m pretty sure you can’t afford $1000 a month. I’m just now at the point where I could maybe come close to avoiding that but my kid starts college next year.
