Completely agree. University is more of a developmental environment for your brain rather than learning SECONDARU SCHOOL PART 2

Craig Kirkwood :
Studying was the only reason I went to university, between being a mature student, working, committing, and being an introvert, I had no interest in socialising.

University wasn't set up to be some sort of dating scene, or a place for a normal person to develop. It was originally supposed to be a place where research was done, and best minds could flourish. University these days is a mockery of what it was supposed to be.

Yes, university is about Networks and learning about how to work in groups (as you may do later), it’s a big hub of opportunities.

"the people who finish uni are those who engaged and found a community which motivated them to keep going" the words of advice I got when starting, so now I'm engaging in the student life so much and have met so many amazing people

As a mature student, please tell me exactly how I am supposed to be living my life.
Please and thank you.
My honest observations is uni is specifically a place for rich kids to do something until they've grown up a bit.

terrible take. Universities are for primarily studying, after all. People say it's the best time of your life because it's the closest sense of community you'll have in your life, IF you're not a commuter and IF you don't have to work to make ends meet. If you're a go getter then the world of work won't stop you from socialising

I think you have a lifetime to expand social circles and make connections but you only have so much time to succeed in a degree. And if your not fortunate enough to have free university education your likely taking on debt or working part time to support it.
I dont think you should be insinuating that people *shouldn't* be at university because they want to do what they signed up for.
