@loosendscrochet: Here’s what I didn’t expect when I started hiring people: MORE work. I assumed that having staff would immediately equal less work for me, but that’s not the case. At least, not yet. For one, training takes a lot of effort; having to vocalize and describe all my processes to other people uses a lot of brain power and concentration. Also, I feel like I’ve had to dissect my brand, thread by thread, to be able to communicate everything to my team. There’s so much stored in my head I didn’t even realize, and having to articulate everything has been a good challenge. Ultimately it’s good to have these things on paper. Things like brand values, our brand deck, our goals, etc. All part of a growing business I guess. #SmallBusiness #scalingstories #entrepreneur #craftygirl #crochetbusiness
