This is a beautiful scene in the movie but it never happened in the book. That was the whole problem, he never would tell her how he really felt until it was too late, and she didn’t realize she loved him til it was too late.

Just finished watching 4 hours long! Interesting thing is I read the original book by Margaret Mitchell when I was young and got heartbroken when Rhett left Scarlett at the end. But watching the movie now at my age, I’m actually completely satisfied with that ending 😂😂😂
