@amytimmerman1: My take on this trend: Moving abroad doesn’t automatically equal a glow up … but living in alignment usually does. So many of us are conditioned to focus on the wrong things: going out drinking, prioritizing romantic relationships over deep community, climbing the corporate ladder instead of connecting with nature, clothes and make up instead of hobbies. When we begin to live in our purpose or energy shifts and it often results in a visual glow up. How we feel on the inside, reflects how we look on the outside. The odds are that all the glow ups moving to a new place, probably also come from connecting more with nature and focussing back on what really matters in life. I know for me personally I didn’t have a drastic change in how I looked until I got my relationships, my job, my community, my spiritual connections, and my hobbies all in alignment with my true self and my soul’s purpose.
