I keep telling ppl, those DNA companies are in cahoots w/ the gov’t to push an “Out of Africa” theory, SPECIFICALLY for Black Americans. Caribbeans may be a casualty, because they don’t force them to be called African-Jamaican, etc 😏 But they really want to remove our history/ ownership on this land(the United States)! Those studies are as good as who funded them. The goal is to tie Black Americans to Africa and not to what we know as the United States, which is our REAL motherland. Also, when you research their reference panels, used in their “studies”, they didn’t use any Black indigenous markers… How can you definitely tell me who my ancient ancestors are w/out using ancient DNA markers? Even when you think about the Slave Trade, Africans were capturing other Africans from different regions of Africa. Meaning, just because Africans were sold from the west coast, doesn’t mean they were from that region. They could’ve been from Central Africa. It’s a bunch of PROBABLE BS, that shouldn’t be received as definitive ancestry. Also, those studies participants were “self identified, Black/African American” Those companies admitted they didn’t confirm immigration status, of the participants. Which means immigrants/ and their descendants participated while claiming to to be “Black/African American” These groups have a HIGH probability of matching to those African reference markers, used in said study. Then they use their “study” results to program the tests’ algorithm. 🤦🏾♀️That in itself, should be illegal! You know it’s sinister, because NO OTHER admixed group is being forced to claim the entire continent! ie: African-American😩 You don’t hear African-Brazilian, African-Trinidadian, African-Mexican… I’m sick of this African narrative being push on Black Americans. Sorry, so long! 😅 You have great content, keep it coming! 👏🏾
