loool I’ve always rolled my eyes at it exactly bc of that gender gassing it 😭 but I will give it a shot instead of prejudging it

Going into any book with preconceptions can mean you don’t end up thinking it’s a good book because it’s different to what you thought it would be and therefore see it as “bad” so deffo keep an open mind for anything you read!!

I was ready to fight you in the comments 😁, no rich dad poor dad slander will be tolerated. I see it as entry level personal finance, it opens up your mind to what else is out there. Great for showing that there is another way. Legend has it that once you read it, you’ll never be the same again 😁

Yeah it is. I’m just silent when people slander it. Reducing liabilities increasing assets is a useful point

Yup!! Robert Kiyosaki is jarring but it’s solid. Really challenges traditional finance views on wealth creation

Yeah it’s a great book. It was my introduction to personal finance and the biggest takeaway was the lesson about ownership and why you should buy assets

It’s a easy read and got me starting to think about investing. I also then started to read more finance books because of it
