That mother should have faced more jail time. Not only did she attempt to cover up his crime, but she then tried to influence him to lie about what he was wearing while in the interrogation room to prevent him from being incriminated. Even after he was taken in for questioning, she was STILL trying to keep him out of prison and not let her or her son face any of the consequences of their own actions. That mother 100% tried to help her son get away with cold blooded m^rder, which makes her an accomplice. Her sentencing was nowhere near long enough.
