I wish I could be a vegan sometimes but as someone with a mild ARFID the food and texture are so disgusting to me and would limit my diet so much I would be constantly malnourished. I was already malnourished just from being vegetarian.

Orrrr make seitan for turkey because it’s just better lol. Cranberry sauce doesn’t need gelatin OR dates, dates are completely unnecessary and expensive. You can definitely make normal bread that everyone likes and recognizes. I’m also so confused on what you used to top your Shepards pie with. Vegan foods are simple, cheap, accessible and delicious. I hate the overly complicated recipes with off the wall ingredients, it makes veganism seem so hard to outsiders.
