@salafi1311: The ʿAṣr prayer carries great virtue; it is the “middle prayer,” and we have been commanded to safeguard the prayers in general, and the ʿAṣr prayer specifically. In this ḥadīth, ʿAbdullāh ibn ʿUmar (رضي الله عنهما) reports that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ informed us that the one who misses the ʿAṣr prayer and does not perform it within its time—delaying it until the sun is close to setting without a valid excuse—it is as if he has lost his family and his wealth, becoming as one who has no family and no possessions. The sorrow and regret he will feel when he sees the reward he missed will be like the grief of someone who has lost his entire household and all his wealth. This ḥadīth is a clear warning against abandoning the ʿAṣr prayer or letting its time pass.
