I will never forget a mud run where they had a fireman’s pole to slide down AFTER swimming across a lake & someone’s shin broke going down it & it sounded like a branch breaking in the woods the way it echoed. It was HORRIBLE.

a bunch of people got poison ivy from a mud run I did where the ditch that was filled with water had poison ivy in it.

Got a bone bruise on my shin & an infected spider bite on my upper thigh during a Tough Mudder. It took a year & physical therapy until my shin fully healed

Worked at a mud run and a coworker didn’t put the gear on the handheld zipline right for a lady so she fell off before she was over the water and broke her back.
