My husband didn't know how bad I had gotten until I went to the hospital for it. He had to find stuff for legal reasons which uncovered how large my problem really was. He stayed, I'm recovering still a year later, and our marriage recovered. I'm a lucky girl. We celebrated 22 yrs this past August.

My Mother used to do this and I was so scared to confront her. I started to bring attention to it and told my family about it but it was too late.. she passed from multi organ failure 3 years ago 😔 If you’re recovering, please keep going. It’s so worth it.

When me aunt passed from a heart attack induced by alcoholism I cleaned 100 plus bottles of from her bedroom! This was only a 3 month supply. So sad 😢

This was my exes mentality. Ruined our relationship and I am still having a hard time moving on 2 years later. A lot of trauma and I love him so much. He would say I am “combative” when I would make boundaries with his drinking.
