This is the sound and reaction that just tears my heart up! It’s such a traumatic experience because they don’t understand you’re trying to help them and they are just fighting for their lives. I think Sassy would have been somewhat like this if I would’ve been able to get close enough to put a leash on her. Trapping definitely is the way to go when possible and done right. Thank you again for all you do!

That’s awesome that he calmed down enough to be carried at the shelter. Imagine your first experience with someone is being restrained around the neck and caged in a strange environment. It’s amazing that these poor pups adapt so quickly.
