Starting Time: 1100 hours Deadline: 1500 hours Resources:- 2 × Transport Vehicles — capacity 8 persons each, speed 40 km/h 2 × Jeeps — capacity 5 persons each, speed 50 km/h 1 × Engineering Vehicle — capacity 4 persons, speed 35 km/h 20 personnel at Base Camp Medical Team — 3 members Technical Team — 4 members 800 kg emergency supplies 1 communication repair kit Limited fuel — unnecessary return trips must be avoided Restrictions 1. 12 civilians are stranded at the School and require immediate assistance. 2. The Medical Camp has only enough emergency supplies for 2 hours. 3. The technical team must reach Hill Top before 1330 hours. 4. The Railway Bridge inspection takes 20 minutes before the technical team can continue toward Hill Top. 5. The River Crossing Point is usable only by one vehicle at a time. 6. One transport vehicle develops a mechanical problem after reaching Village A and can travel at only half its normal speed. 7. The Medical Team must remain together. 8. At least 5 personnel must remain at Base Camp throughout the operation. 9. The School needs 400 kg of supplies; the Medical Camp needs 300 kg. 10. The remaining supplies must be kept at Base Camp as reserve. 11.
