Rarely in any season does the best dancer actually win, the best dancer didn’t win last night. Alix was by far the best dancer left and in my opinion she was heads above Robert. But he was the best “total package” and had that likability factor making him “America’s little brother.” The same with Bobby, he wasn’t the best dancer in his season for sure but he was definitely decent & he had the likability factor that won America’s heart. He was the best “total package”. But comparing him to Andy, who was plum terrible, is pretty wild.

yes Milo was robbed but I hate that Bobby gets torn down and the fact that he sent the mirrorball back to them just shows how much they teared him down for doing nothing he had no control of the voting system

Genuinely I think the performances were tied in the end and that season really showed the power behind the Stars reach of audience in terms of voting. The show isn't always about who was the best dancer but who had the most growth. While Milo had some FANTASTIC performances, he was also already trained in musical theater and some dance so his growth was going to look different and from the outside a lot of viewers thought he should have won, Bobby showed a lot of growth from where they started at as well. In the end, when you have a radio host with a large audience vs a DCOM star with minimal social media presence, the reach for votes is just not on the same field and that's not to say the win wasn't earned or deserved.

This version of the truth is silly. You would purposefully do something unplanned in the choreography in the live shows just as a eff you like you didn’t care. Then your whole legion of listeners whether they watched the show or not voted for you. This season was totally different. Andy was adored by viewers. And in the age of TikTok Bobby never would have made it.
