This is why you should ALWAYS REFUSE FIELD SOBRIETY TESTS. They are entirely subjective and the results can be easily falsified. Chemical tests, such as a breath test or blood draw, are the only way to prove one's sobriety when faced with potential DUI charges. Submitting to an FST is a surefire way to get charged with DUI, since the cop has already made up their mind before administering the test and therefore is biased towards believing you're impaired even if you're stone cold sober.

I have a balance program but have no issues driving. I also haven't had a drop of alcohol in almost 30 years. I'd fail this test. Why can't they just use a breathalyser? I couldn't imagine being falsely accused of DUI.

This is so crazy, how many tests does a person have to do. In NZ we get breathe tested if we fail the initial test we then go to a more accurate test

I'm in England this is obvious corruption. We don't have this sobriety test nonsense here. It's a roadside breath test here pass or fail. I imagine the sobriety test is a hangover from before the sobriety test. Once the breath test came out 1967 in England which is a long time ago. The American sobriety test should of been scrapped. The sobriety test is subjective and what if the driver has a non driving impairment and is allowed to drive with it. You could only give a paraplegic a breath test haha
