Longevity and Sillage varies depending on climate, location and number of sprays (e.g clothes/skin). Blind bought this for fun after looking at the notes. Saw it has some ‘animalic’ notes which I feel it is safe for me to pull the trigger. Personally, not a fan of PDMs as it is overhyped imo. Don’t get me wrong some of themu are generally nice, which is why dupes are available. They just don’t give off that ‘special something’. Top Notes: Bergamot, Grapefruit, Apple, Mandarin Orange & Watery Notes. Middle Notes: Civet, Rose, Geranium, Gardenia & Water Lily. Base Notes: Laotian Oud, Guaiac Wood, Vanilla, Coffee, Sandalwood, Amber, Pink Pepper & Oakmoss. Presentation: 2/5 Longevity: 4/5 Sillage: 3/5 Price: 2/5 Overall Comment: Much deeper tone. Woody, spicy and slightly fruity but not at that level of Layton. Leans a little more masculine. The animalic note hits at the start but it isn’t as strong as compared to those from the likes of Dior’s Purple Oud. As it dries down, it starts to get mildly fruity with a hint of white florals and oud in the background. For someone who prefers a deeper/animalic depth with a touch of sweet, this can be a safe blind buy. Otherwise, please sample first. #laytonexclusif #parfumsdemarly #pdm #perfumereview #singapore
