My father was a draughtsman and worked on the ‘droop snoot’. When I was a kid, I used to visit Filton regularly and have a picture of me in one of the airframes. What an aircraft. I even have a paperweight made from a windscreen…

my mum was a stewardess on them for years I've flown on them many times as a child, mum looking after me while she was at work was like a VIP ...... i fly now , but nothing beats Concorde, nothing never .... it was just a different girl , rip mum

Back in the mid 80s in Dorset all the pheasant would call as Concord went through the sound barrier over the Atlantic.

il n'y a pas eu plus bel avion depuis le Concorde, l' A380 est certes très imposant mais n'a pas la grâce de ce bel oiseau blanc, à l'étroit ds le Concorde mais ça ne faisait rien
