The new truck looks goofy and that is great. It looks like it belongs in a cartoon and little kids will love that. The truck is also designed with carriers in mind. Ac/heat and lamps that shine directly on the mail tray.

The new truck looks goofy, but it has ac and heat, and you can stand up in the back. And you have 360 vision. Time will tell on its life span. Looking forward to getting one

I do have to say, I love driving an LLV in the snow! They gave me a new Mercedes Benz metris van and let me tell you, it DOES NOT go anywhere in the snow! So hopefully the new vehicles can go through snow easily!

Crazy thing they were only designed to last 24 years, but I ain’t gonna lie the LLV is so much better than an FFV it wouldn’t be hard to just modernize the same frame. 🤷🏼♂️you know nobody in the government knows how to be upfront and smart.

I like my ngdv. Room too work in the truck the double trays help. plus it has AC period. Same turn radius as a ffv. I don't care about the look i don't own it and the llv is just a goofy looking

I don’t know how many engines have been swapped out and how many times these trucks have turned over 999,999 miles lol. I love our llv’s as long as a they run 😂

I'm a mailman and my truck spits out a significant amount of pitch black gunk from the tailpipe everytime I turn it on in the morning. It was made in '93 and is still kicking as long as I give her a kiss every morning

As a rural mail carrier I would settle for pinto but not likely to see the new mail truck in my postal career. There’s very few duck trucks out there. Literally like one in every city. That’s it’s. There are what we call metris vans (aka mini vans) there are lots full of these. Never to make it to the road. Would settle for that because at least those have air conditioner.

I’m excited for the new trucks though because if you were a carrier the options they made with the truck make sense. Goofy but will make the job more efficient there’s reason why it looks the way it does
