no because that would end the avatar cycle because when he froze he was in the avatar state so if this was true then tlok (the legend of Korra) wouldn't exist and Korra would be a normal girl

In the episode “The Southern Air Temple” S1 EP3 When Aang enters the avatar state the statues begin glowing on the avatar murals on Kyoshi, and on the statues on Roku’s Crescent Island and the air temple sanctuary; leading to the fire nation to know the avatar is alive. So if Aang enters the avatar state then they start glowing. So with that info why haven’t they been glowing for 100 years? Aang enter the iceberg before the war while in the avatar state and gets out after 100 years during the war. He was in the avatar state the entire time while in the iceberg so why didn’t the statues/murals glow then?
