Well, I gave you the benefit of the doubt and watched your whole video but think that the world has moved on a lot and that gender stereotypes are much less the result of conditioning now than they were and that our behaviours are shaped by our genetics and sometimes trauma. As for patriarchy, I think in our culture, it's a rapidly diminishing entity.

i dont disagree with any of this post having gone to boarding school. but all the pressure on my teenage daughter since she was 14 on how to look and behave on public comes from her mum and granmothers ( who i guess grew up in the same patriarchal soup). It seems to be me the one telling her that she owes nobody nothin, not even a smile if she doesnt feel like smiling ... oh and that grown ups use their words. (I think tho she already developed a good patriarchy bullshit detector though from a decent religious studies teacher.)

Heard! Agreed, thank you. Long, long road ahead for society but that societal change can only happen when we, as individuals, adjust our mindsets and behaviour and try to progress.
