This is all about him not her. I went through something like this when I was engaged. Best thing she can do is move on and take the position that he is not the right one. Her ability to take this strong position will make her even more attractive to him. This will give them the best chance to work through it a little later on. If she even wants to. What most likely will happen is they get back together and she ends the relationship 2-3 months later. This breakup gives both time to reflect.
