😢😢😢🙏🏼✨️Thank you for summarizing eleven years of pleading, arguing, and defending my love and boundaries, needs I repeatedly begged him to meet and he willfully ignored. Instead, he denied or blamed me for every emotional, psychological, physical, and soul-deep wound he intentionally inflicted, fueled by his self-hatred and his obsession with controlling his image and curating the life, wife, and narrative he wanted others to accept as truth. The five protection orders, multiple arrests and violations, and his being legally established as the aggressor in our divorce are not fake, they are facts. They exist and help to explain, to others and even to myself, why recovery from domestic violence is neither quick nor simple. Believe survivors. By the time they finally speak up, they have already lost immeasurably (and their children as well), having only then fully recognized the gravity and lasting impact of the harm inflicted... 😢🙏🏼🙌🏼✨️
