As someone who worked with special-needs adults for five years, as the house manager for two different group homes, both medical and behavioral. Regardless of that guy being high function, they are still supposed to legally have an escort with them in public for these reasons. Especially if they’re that big of a disability, cause at that point, they are danger to themselves and the community. Depending on the developmental disability, so know what they’re doing and some don’t some literally have the mentality of a five year-old or a six-year-old so they need that. Guardian to steer them in the correct behaviors.

That does not give you an excuse to assault anyone. There are many different types of disabilities, but if the person has a mental disability with caretaker or personal responsible should know better than to allow him be out without supervision. The caretaker might be responsible in charge may be brought against that personthat would be the proper response.
