Dude being his biggest fan is like selling my soul away to just be repeatedly tortured with the thought and the view of how, NO MATTER what way Jason is adapted by writers, artists, or even the fandom, the love that comes with him HAS to come with pain. He HAS to lose something. He HAS to have something at cost, or on edge,. His own PERSONALITY, his own IDENTITY, Being written in such ways, it leaves him in a loosing situation NO matter what, and even as a fandom of loving him and taking him in our own perspectives and or views, we still have to accept the cost of the loss of him as well. A prime example being “I love Jason Todd” before the “red hood arc” or “I love red hood!” Even before he was Robin, or even when you love both, we have to accept the terms with Jason. No matter how much we take him in, we still see the competition with him. And other characters, and other robins. And how there’s always ANOTHER option prior to Jason
