What’s really ironic (from my personal testimony), is that when you start putting God (above all), family, friends, strangers, love all before yourself. You lose all that selfishness, guilt, shame & everything else that comes with overthinking about yourSELF. Of course those things creep at times but the rebound becomes much easier when you’re just pouring all of it into everyone else. Sounds twisted but it really has transformed me

I understand what you’re trying to say, but I would think that Jesus would want you to love yourself because you are a creation of God, self hate is not a part of the kingdom of heaven. Pride, ego, and selfishness is definitely demonic yes and a lower energy. But self-care and love are completely separate from that once you love yourself deeply as God intended you love everything else around you not selfish but selfless
