As a veterinarian of 20+ years, I’m honestly shocked. The dull coat, the posture, the eyes… this dog is showing textbook signs of neglect and possible underlying illness, including early-stage dermal nutrient depletion and ocular stress syndrome. I’m absolutely sick to my stomach right now.💔

With all do respect, please get that baby some medicine for his skin. My pitbull used to get hotspots as well. The medicine used to cost me about 120 a month from the vet. But he deserves to be comfortable. There’s other options online to check out

Hey so the rule of thumb for a dog’s ideal weight is “we don’t want to see ribs, but we want to feel ribs” ..Seeing ribs means underweight, not being able to feel ribs means overweight. Here, we can see his ribs and spine. Has he been seen by a vet..ever?

OK, I’m not going to assume that you don’t care about your dog. I’m a dog owner and I know most of us Love our dogs. I say this with so much Care, please take him to the vet for allergy testing, my dog used to have skin irritation, so I had to put him on prescription food, and I had to give him salmon because he was allergic to chicken, after a few years now he’s allergic to salmon, but he can eat chicken so it’s really finding out what works for him through elimination and Patience. Also, Dog don’t know if you’re joking when you speak and more assertive Tone or if you’re being mean to them, so just keeping that in mind to reassure him after this skits. I hope that you’re having a great holiday week.
