Dads are not like that at all, if dads do have this type of contact with their daughters don’t you think mothers would raise their daughters on their own without her baby daddy? 🤷🏻♀️you probably felt really anxious that’s why you didn’t want to go. 💗Look I understand as a female it’s sometimes difficult being around men but he’s your Dad he can’t do that you no father can do that to their own daughter

The best thing I have ever done as a parent was after tucking them in at night and reading stories I would ask each kid “is there anything you want to talk about?” Sometimes it would be a no. Sometimes it would be about a video game they had played or a tv show they had watched or something similar. But sometimes it was something important. And it continues to pay off. My kids are now adults and they still come to me with things that they wouldn’t normally share with a parent because I built that trust as a child.

it wouldn't cross my mind to sleep with my dad in a hotel room without my mother or sibling.. like it would be awkward and nobody would suggest it. I probably would've been afraid to go somewhere alone with my dad even tho I absolutely adored him. we had boundaries in my home
