Be kinder to yourself, you don't have to have everything figured out, why should you when no one else does? Im heading for 50 and there are days I'm looking around for an adult to step in and sort me out. Just take a breath, enjoy your child and relax. You don't have to meet anyone else's expectations or standards. Follow your curiosity and find people who share your interests hopefully you'll find some friends that way but even if you don't you've spent your time doing something that you enjoy. 💞💞💞

I connect with what you share on many levels. I moved to Europe from California 6.5 yrs ago. First 3 years in Milano and now 3.5 years in France. The move from Italy to France shook me. I was pregnant navigating a lot of newness. I still feel like I have not found my ‘people’. Question where feels like home… wondering if I move somewhere else (mainly Biarritz if I would be happier 🫣) I do not speak French, the accent, the not pronouncing certain letters it’s much more difficult then Italian. Tomorrow I am taking my practical driving exam… I was driving since 15 in Los Angeles. Never thought I would need to do this again. I feel lost too sometimes. Want to have a zoom coffee? ☕️some things only other expat moms can understand. Dm me 😊🌻

Oh I understand you 1000% am am exactly in the same position . I dot know who I am anymore or what I want career wise, even though I spend money on courses I don’t feel connected at all. I simply don’t know what to do as a job.( we moved in 4 countries in 4 years😭😅)

Huomasin, et oot suomalainen. Oon ite ihan samassa tilanteessa. Suomeen en haluis vaikka välillä tuntuu siltä et ois parasta muuttaa takas. Lontoo ei enää tunnu kiinnostavan monen vuoden jälkeen vaikka luulin, että tää ois nyt se koti mut kohta onkin muutto toiseen mahaan miehen työn perässä samalla kun oma ura jäissä lasten takia. 😭
