Your shoulders are your wings. What is precluding you from flying? 🦉 When I work behind the shoulders, I’m working with what we understand energetically as the back of the heart space. The grief. The longing. The love you didn’t know how to receive. The weight of always being the one who holds everything together. In traditional Chinese medicine, the lungs are associated with grief. Through that lens, this work becomes an invitation to explore what we’re carrying and what we’re ready to put down. As one of my teachers, Maria, says, when you come into this space with an elbow, “you are poking the bear.” And that deserves respect. We listen. We check in. We work with consent, because intensity is never the goal. This brings us to the Hermetic principle of polarity, woven here into the heart chakra. Grief and joy. Giving and receiving. The desire to open and the instinct to protect. Can you honor the part of you that learned to close while making room for the part that wants to fly? That’s the invitation. 🤍 What are your wings tired of carrying? #nervoussystemhealing #energyhealing #myofascialrelease #oraclemedicine #traumahealing
