as a nd I agree ive gotten so much special experiences with the gateway tapes. i entered the void state many times, had vivid dreams about my drs, sleep paralysis that wasn't as crazy, a mix of sleep paralysis & dreams, i felt my body float

so then what should i do 😭 bc i have the same problem like meditation may help me but when i actually do methods that require me to “calm down” i literally can’t focus on anything… but it seems like shifting communities only seem to talk about those methods

I’ve found reiki asmr with an activity to occupy my hands is GREAT meditation for my ADD. The people I follow narrate what they’re doing but don’t tell you what to think or visualize. They don’t whisper, they just talk softly. Granted this is just for meditation and not meant for shifting but I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to use one for shifting. You don’t need to sit perfectly still to meditate, you don’t need to lay down, it’s just about centering your energy.

Tip that helped me is body doubling, you can have a friend over the phone or in person ever shifting with you or doing their own thing, you can also have a video of someone doing things for this too or imagine what other people in your Dr would be doing around you.
