i have houses in my community that were sold brand new for 450k on 2021. they are listed for 1.1 million now and just sitting since march/april they have obviously been sold lie by these realtors.

The problem is the interest rates are to high. So if you a 30 year at 2.5% which is what we did refinancing during Covid makes sense. People are not going to buy a house at say 350k ans spend 6% interest on it. Something has to give.

We bought our home 2 years ago. Since then we’ve updated the electrical, redid the ugly laundry room and we’re putting a much nicer fence up. We bought for $240K and plan to sell in a few years for $300K-$315K just to make up some of the money that we’ve put into it. I have noticed homes that were bought for $250K being “redone” and sold for $500k a year later. It is excessive.

please say this louder for future sellers!!! zillow has been misleading for a min. giving unrealistic #s Plus, buyers are only willing to pay for what the home is NOT what it could be. sellers were acting like their home was fully remodeled, new pool, paid solar when in reality it hasn't been updated in over 10 yrs, pool was just painted over and the solar comes with a true-up bill 😭😭😭 Proper representation matters!!! 💯

My grandfather with their renovated historical Victorian 7 bedroom house. My grandma passed away a year ago and the new wife wants a condo so she’s squeezing for way more than it’s worth 🙄

Saw a house in my neighborhood sold for 200k and they did a sloppy remodel and it’s back on sale for 500k and they just keep dropping the price somewhere around 494k bc who is buying that 😭

Bruh, a home by me. Was bought in 80’s. Red carpet from the 80’s. The wood paneling. No updates in the kitchen and I could keep going and they want $400k. There are no starter homes anymore
