@xxsimmii: This was my FIRST therapy session and I was honestly really scared. I want to document this entire process because I know that in Asian culture, specifically in the Indian community, mental health is NOT talked about. I don’t see or hear about Indian people getting therapy, so going into this process was extremely scaring for me. I’m so happy and proud of you Simmi for taking this first step for yourself 🫶🏼❤️therapy is hontestly the best!! I was in therapy last year and it was the best, most validating and healing experience I ever took to take care of myself. I think therapy is good for everyone!!

So proud of you!🩷 coming from a culture that our mental health doesn’t matter it can be very hard/scary going to therapy! I had kept my therapy sessions a secret for a couple of months from my family! I finally had the courage to tell them that mental health does matter! So proud of us🩷🩷
