Just recently started feeding my cat Viva Raw, mixing it with her old food atm (Stella & Chewy’s)- What are your opinions on the phosphorus content, or does that really matter? Super scared of CKD!! Shes young now but I’d like to continue feeding raw since it’s the only wet food she’ll eat (and for health benefits) it seems to have high phosphorus count….

What else can I feed besides hills prescription? My cat has crystals and I refuse to give her hills, but the vet told me is “genetics” and apparently I have to gave her that for life

I wish feeding a varied diet made a difference in pickiness. My cat ate anything as a kitten & I fed him 5 different brands & every known meat protein & texture. As an adult he's incredibly picky. Plus will suddenly go off a food he used to love. I try a couple varieties 18 hours & then end up opening can after can after can until he eats one of them. Awful.

my cat only wants to eat pate. I feed her different brands and proteins, but she rejects any shreds, chunks, ect, even if it's a food like pate with shreds. is this bad? why do cats need different textures?
