@conamorjaz: Diary of a first generation Latina pt 2 🍒🌙🐆 this platform has become like a digital diary where I'm able to express myself creatively. At the core of my identity is my Latin heritage that I am so proud of and I carry with pride. The woman before me carried resilience that have made me the person I am today. Many of us are feeling conflicted during this time, but I want to send strength to each and every single one of you. Being first generation, Latina (o) means that you were the first in your family to do many things. Without help, somehow we did it. Many of us graduating college. Many of us going into careers where Latinos were never seen. Many of us running a business and being able to help our families out. I'm so proud of this community.
