Luvox is the only med that genuinely targets my OCD. It takes a while to kick in & also increasing but seriously, after years of trying everything, it is the only thing that gives me relief. Lol I made a burner acct to comment because I need to pipe in. I’ve tried every SSRI and other combos, and even though I’m still on another med for anxiety, Luvox is the first thing to target my OCD. I remember I first started to realize it might be working when I was able to recognize and BELIEVE ‘oh ocd is a legit disorder’ versus ‘yeah I have ocd’ and recongnize when it’s acting up, but it still had all the power. Idk if this makes sense but like before OCD was just a label for things I knew were ‘irrational’ or the compulsions were ‘just OCD’ but obviously if it was that easy of an outlook, then I wouldn’t give into / believe whatever my brain is telling me is fact or DYRE. But then it was like, oh wait OCD is anxiety, it’s not some idfk higher power that has full control over what’s going to happen in to me or life. Not sure if any of that connects but to sum it up just know relief is cominggf

Luvox is heaven sent. My ocd was ruining my life and this got me to the point where I could start actually applying what I was learning in therapy if that makes sense.

I’m no doctor but the only med that ever made a difference for my ocd is buspirone. You like add it along with your main med and it helped me so much

Would it be helpful or hurtful for me to share my experience with Luvox? I love to have all possible info but I think that’s the OCD talking and don’t want to project that you’d want to know how it affected me! I just had one very specific takeaway and did end up coming off
