I was not about to buy one garland for fall and another one for Christmas. 😅 The trick is starting with a good cedar garland as the base, then making everything you add removable. For fall, I kept it simple with a few rust-colored leaves, pinecones, berries and small pumpkins so the cedar still did most of the work. Then when it was time for Christmas, all of that came right back out and I switched the exact same garland over with deep red velvet ribbon, warm lights, berries, pinecones and gold accents. Same garland. Completely different look. And honestly, this is probably my favorite part — you don’t have to wait until Christmas to use it. You can put it up now, enjoy it for fall, then completely change the mood later without starting over. The one I used comes as a 2-pack of 6-foot cedar garlands, so you can split them between a mantel, staircase, doorway or another room.
