As soon as that cop said the words "heres the deal" the whole situation was over for the cops, they totally F'd up at that point and a settlement will be paid if the camera man files a complaint and lawsuit. That first cop immediately escalating everything by trying to get in the man's face and intimidate him by trying exercise his ego fuel non-authority over someone who knows their rights. cops cannot handle being told no, they cannot handle being called out for their illegal actions.

And before I forget to say this, once again we have cops who tried to enforce feelings and not laws, tried to intimidate by bullying, tried to make laws up to fit the call rather than actually investigate and find out what really happened, and not actually say anything to the people that committed the real crime walk away with absolutely nothing. They walked away with nothing because they knew they were wrong.
