the higher the dose the less effective the sedative is, i take it for insomnia but the morning brain fog got better once i upped the dose

im on 45mg, the lower doses are more sedating, and I've got to admit, mirtazapine changed my life for the better, totally turned things around for me, its the best pill I've ever been prescribed

I was put in 15mg they have a sedative in which calms me and helps me sleep but weight gain is horrendous

I hated it, felt like I was in a bubble and couldn't properly connect with anyone. Felt like a shell of who I was and had no emotional response to anything.. Yeah it made me less depressed but it also made me less loving and caring. Just existed 💔

Mirtazapine literally did ✨NOTHING✨ FOR ME. It didn’t help me sleep, it didn’t give me brain fog, I literally thought they gave me a placebo or something to test if I was telling the truth.

It does wear off … I take it b4 bed used to help but dosent help me sleep now …. Try flauxitine through the day and half the Mitrazipine at night ❤️👌

I was on this for months it made me worse . I was constantly depressed, anxiety was sky high . didnt even want to get out of bed . put on so much weight . I came off them over a few weeks and my depression has lifted . ive lost 18lb in weight and feel so much better NEVER AGAIN

i’m on 45mg and it works better this way for me, i’m able to stay awake, and the antidepressant aspect of it definitely works a whole lot better. may be worth increasing your dose or even swapping to a new medication entirely. some meds don’t work for some people and that’s okay, you just have to find what works for you.

Try take it at bedtime or increase the dose it’s the lower doses that have a sedative effect
