As an Afghan who worked with Americans, you should understand that governments act on their own interests. Loyalty is not something you can expect from agencies like the CIA. When someone works for a system that has been involved in conflicts causing millions of deaths, that system will not repay you with loyalty or protection. It’s like expecting a snake not to bite it’s simply in its nature.
