26 here. Dated a dude basically 3 years. Thought he was good for me bc he was calmer and maybe I needed to tame my chaos for something stable, but i just am a very outgoing person with a lot of ambition. I am also intense, and he was not compatible with that. I realized it wasnt me who had to calm down, we just didnt work

I’m 29 one thing i realized is how much I overstayed in everything cities, friendships, relationships ecp when I knew it wasn’t right/ knew the red flags. And also being non confrontational Def was a mix of emotional avoidance and fear of rejection. Now I’m pivoting ( recently moved to a new city again, making new friends and I’m rejuvenated! I look and feel amazing). Can’t wait for my 30s

25 and finally letting go of things that are no longer serving me, just ended a 6 year relationship that I knew for a while was not working, I’m moving to a new city, getting a new job, and going to try to embrace myself rather than change or suppress who I am for other people

I also feel like people will just pushback on things they don’t align with instead of just accepting people as they are lol. I’m 27 & I really enjoy being on my own, which makes people uncomfortable bc they don’t understand it. I actually really like that quality about myself & it makes the times I do want to socialize/go out better bc I know I truly want to be there.
