@zoraidasworld: Toxic people avoid you when guilt hits. Healing, boundaries, self-respect, mindset growth, and protecting your peace—this space is for you.
Its honestly on both sides. Men do take accountability and try their best to improve while and some men dont and the same goes for women as well.

It’s honestly jarring how quickly the dynamic shifts when you finally stop playing along and start holding space for your own worth. That distance they create is actually the biggest confession they could ever make—it proves they were never capable of handling the weight of their own actions. You aren't losing anything by their departure; you’re just clearing the room for people who are actually willing to show up with integrity.
Choosing to stand in your truth instead of making them comfortable is the ultimate act of self-respect. It’s not easy to be the one who refuses to shrink anymore, but watching the trash take itself out is a pretty clear sign that you’re on the right path.

I’ve been married 40 years to an emotionally avoidant man that dismisses me and has never admitted he is wrong. He just waves his hand at me and walks away never to talk about it again. My grown children are treating me the exact same way he treats me and I just figured it out now. They have gone no contact.

Definitely went through this recently but I take this as dodging a bullet. No matter your feelings people who do this to someone who were giving their all to them deserve so much better ❤

Sometimes people remove themselves because the toxicity is too much and you don’t know where it actually stems… maybe you don’t know who your friends are, or maybe they shunned you, so you walk away to protect your peace

It works both ways, the past is past but was treated poorly many times never got an apology which is fine but have learnt to be the bigger person and apologize when I’m in the wrong.
