always join public teams, casual teams help with intelligence which helps with xp, join events and stick around with other players. if u want some stuff I can give u it if ur on xbox

Check every donation box. Put your camp down as soon as you see a good spot. You’ll he able to fast travel to it. Put down your storage box. Go to Whitespring Mall they have every crafting station there

dont pick up ammo you dont need, its useless weight, and one you get yourself armed join every event to level up really quickly, youre usually going to get carried by high levels

One thing there will be some nearby locations that have power armor. It depends on your level, but 245 is like if you pick the commander card you’re able to use a bunch of power quick and easy. You also get some starter equipment that’s like military.

craft as much leather arms as possible and scrap em. you'll learn the mods for every piece. only costs one steel technically when you scrap Join a public team for extra bonuses. get inspirational asap for perks. and junk shield is awesome to have too.

once you reach lvl 50 you'll be able to use any weapon and armor. If you're looking for a good beginner set of Power Armor go for excavator. good carry weight will help you alot. Also welcome 76er!

Let the high levels take care of you and set you up. Also, if you plan to make yourself a ghoul at level 50, its highly suggested you either have a melee build, bow build, or a commando build. Heavy gunners dont do well as a ghoul.

look for friends. If you're a high level player, ask him everything you need to know, like how to modify weapons, how to create strong builds, how to do raids, how to modify power armor, etc.

Always try to be on a causal team. You will get an xp boost for everyone on your team as well as caps whenever a teammate completes a quest

dont hoard weapons, just the ones you like. buy fallout first only if you want, you do not need it to have fun, maybe only if your a loot goblin. weapons scale every 10 levels up to 45-50 (some cap at 45).

Do every Scorched Earth event, even if you’re low level, easy XP, great loot, and a lot of high levels deal with the queen bat, also high levels are 90% friendly got 1K of Stimpacks of one of them, and it’s the fastest way to level up

do Every event tht pops up and max out ur Xp buffs, see if someone can come build u a bunch of stuff in game too at ur base for buffs. if ur on Ps5 I can do tht

76 is awesome, approach high levels and they might give you free stuff, find a nice and somewhat safe place to build your camp and scrap all your junk before storing it, (saves on space)
